a xanga site was created almost a year ago because someone wanted to comment a xanga entry of a friend. the same thing happened today with the word "xanga" replaced by "blogger"
sometimes i treat blogs as forums where people can discuss something interesting
however i found that only a few people comment seriously
it is easy to tolerate comments which involve personal offence and completely off topic materials since kids should be given chances to improve
however it is frustrating to read comments made by people who comment without careful reading, understanding and thinking; since these comments disappoint the writer who want some "real" discussion
finally, although people seldom reject positive responses, i think it is better to comment the content of the entry instead of saying something like "quite good" since comments like this are meaningless at least among hong kong people
