Kierkegaard on the Internet

A good reflection of the information age, which many of us find Utopia in terms of freedom of speech.

Quick comment: Kierkegaard pointed out some important adverse effects the Press caused in the society, which is to weaken one's responsibility and commitment to both himself and the others. However I regard the philosopher technology-phobic, which is common among intellects and artists. To these people, the conventional mind set is the mind set one should have. They cannot stand any alternatives to the way we value, brought by social/technological/whatever changes. It is true that responsibility and commitment are still important to everyone's life, but the ways to be responsible and to commit have already changed (some may not agree of course). Therefore what the philosopher said may no longer be relevant to our age.
